I am a professional journalist and writer living in London. During my career I have worked for The Guardian, The South China Morning Post in Hong Kong and the Press Association. I am now freelance, concentrating on digital publishing and writing/producing feature films.
My areas of interest include film/music/art/literature/travel/culture/wellbeing, but in the past I have written on international news, politics and sport.
In my spare time I write and perform poetry and play the cajon in acoustic bluegrass bands.
My favourite writer is Samuel Beckett, my musical hero is John Coltrane.
